  1. It’s ironic that you now mention Ennio Morricone because I’ve been obsessing over “Humanity Part: II” The signature theme of his soundtrack for John Carpenter’s The Thing.

  2. I agree with Crygnosis as well, it’s better for the story line if the main character has a link to the human world that keeps her sane. At least for right now in the story where Luna is vulnerable and doesn’t have confidence in her abilities. It would be a pretty awesome twist later in the series though (fingers crossed)!

  3. Hm. I agree with fan. For now it would be a bit much to have Collie become a were, but maybe later on. Good to see a set schedule. Keep up the good work, Leo.

  4. I agree that it’s better for the story if Collie stays human. Still, it would be cool to see a “What If” story where she was the Werewolf and Luna was human, or even just a piece of art showing Collie in the 3 forms of Werewolf you’ve established Leo.

  5. I’ve yet to see why we need to see Collie as a wolf. She has no relation to any werewolf clan , that we know of , and she just doesn’t seem like the type of person who could hack something like this. Be like sending Fang to San Quentin. Just don’t see it happening.

  6. I dunno about Collie becoming a werewolf… I found the Werewolf/human relationship thing kind of cool. Personally, I would find all werewolves (although still cool) a little monotone. With the human/werewolf relationship in the group, you can make all sorts of problems to keep it interesting (mainly racial) and solutions to these problems. Sorry for the wall of text T.T just my two cents.
…I’m betting both the man and the kid are gonna die. Just BTW.

  7. I have to disagree with Crugnosis on this one. I understand that if Collie remains human it gives werewolf Luna a counterpart. However if Collie were to become a werewolf or whatever the evil were creatures are called in the comic then you as a reader getbto see a test f Luna and Collie’s friendship. Overall I prefer to see Collie as a werewolf but thats just me

  8. Im getting excited for the showdown between the Animas and Werewolves! At least that’s what the front cover seems like it’s foreshadowing 😀

  9. Oooo…bringing up a Kill Bill reference already got me thinking what is about to happen. Guess we shall see 🙂

  10. Morricone is a fantastic composer, not to mention prolific. Must have scored hundreds of movies and shows.

One of my favorites of his is from Good, Bad and Ugly, called ‘il tramonto’ (sunset in Italiano).

Spaghetti westerns don’t get nearly enough credit. Anyway to tie in to werewolves as is obligatory here, how come no (or so few) wild west werewolf stories? Seem like a perfect setting!

  11. Leo, good to have you and AL back and up! If it’s worth my while to say, I prefer Collie as a standard human; Luna lived most of her life as a human (regardless of her biological Therian parentage) and now that she’s has her First Change and met Fang (while not entirely getting along with him), also a were, having Collie as both a good friend and a psychological ‘ground wire’ to her human self is probably healthier than having both of them learning the Therian ‘ropes’ simultaneously. Collie said it herself to Luna near the end of the previous chapter: together, friends, they can get through this.

Thanks for keeping the Therian Machine running, Leo!

    -Frostbite.

  12. Am I the only person here who would rather see Collie as a werewolf?!?!?! Anyway an interesting twist would be if Collie became an Animas (the enemy’s of the werewolves’
